I loved Brother Jimmy so very much, He was a speical person, he was my friend, he was there for me anytime i needed him, he loved everyone. Brother Jimmy, thank you for being there for me always, thank you for always having my back. Ms. Nancy, I love you as you have always been there standing next to him, and a great and wonderful person. May God Bless you during this time.

I am Jim's first cousin from Shelby County (Alabaster) AL. We had lost contact with him and did not even know where he was. So sorry to read of his death in the newspaper today. My condolences to the family, past and present.

Brother Jimmy was the kindest, most giving person there was. He was a true man of God and there is no doubt he is in Heaven right now, smiling down on all of us. Three years ago, Brother Jimmy married Kevin and I. He was such a joy to be around, he made us laugh and made our special day truly amazing. We could not have picked a better Pastor to conduct the ceremony. He will always hold a special place in our hearts. Nancy, his family members and friends are in our thoughts and prayers. We love you!

I cannot tell you how much I loved Brother Jimmy, He was a great man, and so special to us. I do not know how we could have made it sometimes without him. My 3 children attended Ashville Elementary while Jimmy was the principal. We all loved him so much and he will be missed by all that knew him.

A heartfelt tribute to the Reverend Jimmy Nixon. Jimmy served as the Pastor of the Eureka UMC where I grew up but had already left the area prior to his arrival. However, Martie and I returned often to visit my parents and attended church with them each Sunday. Jimmy was one of my Mother and Dad's favorite Pastors as well as ours. He was a dynamic preacher and pastor that we all admired and thought so much of. Our deepest condolences and sympathy to his Family. He was truly a Servant Unto The Lord!
