Dear Colburn Family and Extended Family, Moran was such a great influence in my youth when I attended the Summer Camps at Comer. I have been around Scouting on and off since 1976. I achieved the rank of Eagle and some of my fondest memories were of the conversations I had with Mr. Colburn at the Trading Post. I am so glad to see that it bears his name now and so many others were touched by his presence there. I had many a shortened recess time for swimming by talking to Moran. He was such a nice and encouraging man. Moran helped me learn some sign language which I still have limited use of today due to his guidance and influence. I look forward to taking my child up to Comer that has just started Scouting this year. May God Bless all that your family sees through his passing and knowing that he is in the presence of the Almighty, sharing His praise and beating his drum. I am blessed and honored to have known Moran. Sincerely, H. Thomas Watson
