Funeral service for Dottie Vance, 87, of Talladega, will be Sunday at 2 PM at the First United Methodist Church. Rev. Ted Peterson will officiate and burial will be in Pine Hill Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends Saturday from 5-7 PM at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega. Mrs. Vance passed away April 26, 2012 at Talladega Heath Care. She was a native of Tennessee, a long time resident of Dune Din, Florida, for the past 12 years she has been a resident of Talladega County. She was an avid volunteer at the First United Methodist Church of Talladega. She was a close knit part of the Talladega Community through her volunteer work and care for her friends and family. She is preceded in death by her sons, Ernest “Bobby” Ethridge, David Lynn Ethridge. She is survived by her daughter-in-law: Jan Donnelly, grandchildren: Mark Ethridge, Scott Ethridge, Brett Ethridge, Michael Ethrideg and Charles Ethridge, and several great-grandchildren.
