He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Billie Elkins, daughter: Gina Elkins Bentley, sons: Billy Ray (Amanda) Elkins, Greg Elkins, grandchildren: Amber Sharp, Jonathan Smith, Sonny Williams, Ashley Elkins, Joshua Crabtree, Tracie Kirklnad, great-grandchildren: Sydney Elkins, Braxton Elkins, Kayleigh Beaty, Kelsey Beaty, David (Bean) Sharp, Pamela Kirkland, Keith Kirkland, Lily Smith, sister: Barbara Swindle, brothers: Wayne Elkins, Sam Elkins, Donnie Elkins, Jimmy Elkins
Pallbearers will be Archie Elkins, Troy Elkins, Cliff Sander, Andy Williams, Sherman Twymon, Dusty Sanders, David Smith and Kenneth Elkins. Honorary pallbearers will be Van Dunn, Jimmy Hardy.
He was loved very much and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
