Obituary of Homer Dewayne Trammell
Wayne Trammell, 73, of Talladega passed away on October 31st, 2017. A graveside service will be Thursday November 2, 2017 at 11:00 am at Pine Hill Memorial Park in Talladega with visitation prior at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel beginning at 9:30 am. Sam Walker will be officiating.
He was a lifelong resident of Talladega. He retired from Talladega Foundry after 35 years. His passion was coaching Little League Baseball in Talladega. He was an avid golfer, fisherman, outdoorsman, die hard Auburn fan and proud American.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Judy Trammell; son, Stoney Trammell (Margaret); daughter, Suzann Ray (David); grandchildren, Keitt Trammell, Trent Trammell, Will Ray and Elizabeth Ray; sister-in-laws, Faye Wilcox, Sharon Trammell and numerous other family members.
He is preceded in death by parents Homer and Marie Trammell; uncle, Robert Trammell; brothers, Billy Wilcox, Hugh Trammell.
Pallbearers will be Will Ray, Trent Trammell, Clint Shaddix, Mike Hughston, Nathaniel Walker and Todd Cook.
