Obituary of Hugh Culpeper

Mr. Culpeper was born in Sycamore, AL and graduated from Winter-boro High School He was retired from the H. Warshow & Sons Com­pany of Talladega and Tappahannock, Virginia after working there for more than 45 years. He was also a decorated veteran of the Korean War (1950-51). He served as a Master Sargent with the U.S. Army, 2nd In­fantry Division, 37th Field Artillery Battalion. He is preceded in death by his parents, Guy Cul­peper and Alma Dean Folsom; sisters, Evelyn Quinn and Helen Perry ; Brothers William and Dan He is survived by his wife of more than 49 years, Charlotte Freeman Culpeper; son, Alan Hugh Culpeper (Lynn); grandson, Justin Hugh Culpeper; granddaugh­ter, Amber Marie Cul­peper; daughters by a previous marriage, Diane Townsend and Cindy King; brothers, Reese and Ed (Lillie) Culpeper; sister Mavis Wheeler (Franklin).
