Celia Holmes Vickers,88 of Alpine was born August 20, 1935 and went to be with the lord March 8,2024. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Lonnie F. Vickers, daughter Della Mellissa Dudney, brother Milton R. Holmes and her parents Estell and Noble Holmes.
She is survived by her son Michael Vickers and his wife Linda, grandchildren Jessica Vickers Best, Amos Vickers, Andy Brakefield, nephew Chris Holmes and his wife Christy.
Celia and Lonnie were longtime members of Trinty Baptist in Childersburg.
Serving as pallbearers will be Amos Vickers, Randy Moe, David Haynes, Mike Vickers, Chris Holmes.
Graveside services will be held at 11:45 Wednesday March 13, 2024, at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, Brother John Woodall will officiate the service. Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega will direct.
