James David Lett, 62, of Talladega passed away January 12, 2024. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel in Talladega. Joshua Henderson will officiate the service. His family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service. David loved life and was lighthearted in nature. He loved animals, especially horses and dogs. David liked people and didn’t meet many strangers. He was kindhearted and would give you the shirt off from his back. He provided his family and friends with so many laughs with his amazing dance moves, his funny nature, and silly ways of talking. David will be missed by many, especially his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, William “Bill” Robert Lett Sr. and Mary Nell Lett. Mr. Lett is survived by his brother, William R Lett Jr (Michelle), nieces and nephews, William R. Lett III (Patricia), Felicia Johnson (Timothy), Lacie Bragg (Landon), Joshua Lett, Waylon Lett, Wade Lett (Kristen), Wyatt Lett (Jade), Madison Lett, Alivia Huffman (Nick), Hannah Johnson, Lauryn Johnson, Dale Johnson, Liam Bragg, Evelynne Lindsey, Easton Lindsey, Hayes Lett, Eleanor Lett, and Parker Lett, and a host of other family and friends.
