Obituary of Nellie Louise Cox Hannah

Nellie Louise Cox Hannah, 78, of Ragland, Alabama passed away on October 13, 2017. She was a beloved mother & grandmother. She was preceded in death by her father, Willis Cox, her mother Ethel Cox Woods, a sister, Dorothy Mae Cox Crow, and her brothers, Edward Cox, S.J. (Bud) Cox, Norman (Red) Cox, and Junior Ray Cox, and by a daughter, Linda Louise Nunnelly.   She was a member of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Hannah is survived by her sisters, Lillian T. Savage and Teresa Steed, her sons, Freddy Hoffman and Norman (Wendy) Hannah, daughters, Lorine (Stoney) Rakestraw, Jimmie Lou (Michael) Wise, Loretta (Clay) Owens, Robin (James) Franklin,  and Angela Echols, several grandchildren, great- grandchildren and great- great -grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Monday, October 16, 2017 from Usrey Funeral Home, Pell City, with the Rev. Richard Ashley, Rev. Doug Ford, and Dalton Wyatt officiating.  Interment will follow at Box Cemetery in Ragland. The family will receive friends Monday from 1 - 2 at the funeral home.
