Funeral services for Mr. Ronald Dale “ Ronnie” Strickland will be Saturday, August 19 2017, 11:00 am at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel of Talladega with burial to follow at Pine Hill Memorial Park. The Rev. Glen Horn will officiate services. Mr. Strickland passed away at his residence on Thursday, August 17 2017. Visitation will be Friday, August 18 2017, 6:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home.

 

Mr. Strickland is survived by his wife; Delois K. “Sue” Strickland, son; Shane Strickland, step-daughter; Kristy Goidel (John), Grandchildren; Christian, Chance, and Chandler Strickland. Pallbearers will be John Goidel, Steve VanHoose, Bruce Tidwell, Danny Hattaway Jr., Brian Wills and Tommy Tidwell.

 

Mr. Strickland was a native of Calhoun County and a resident of Talladega for 30 years, was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served in Vietnam, was a member of American Legion post 17, DAV Chapter 78, and was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church.
