Mrs. Geraldine Layton Kendrick, 93, of Pell City, Alabama, passed away on February 20, 2017 in Pell CIty.
Mrs. Kendrick was a member of Cropwell Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Pell City Line Dancers and the Pell City Senior Center. She was an avid square dancer and was an active participant in Relay for Life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thurmon Johnnie Kendrick, and by a son, Voyed Eugene Kendrick.
Mrs. Kendrick is survived by her son, Randy Kendrick (Diana); sister, Betty Layton Willingham (Jerry Dan); grandchildren, Julie Klaus (Keith), Lisa Kendrick, Chisti White (Michael), and Timothy John Kendrick (Dawn); seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great- grandchild.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am on Thursday February 23, 2017 at Usrey Funeral Home, Pell City, with Bro. Tim Spates and Bro. Bill Daniel officiating. Interment will follow at St. Clair Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 22, 2017, from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
