Funeral service for Daniel Hallman, 86 of Talladega will be Friday, January 6, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Ironaton Church of Christ. Cliff Goodwin will officiate and burial will follow in Midway Memory Gardens. His family will receive friends Thursday 6-8 pm at Usrey Funeral Home. Mr. Hallman passed away at his home January 3, 2017. He was a native of a Clay County and a longtime resident of Talladega. He was a supervisor at Avondale Mills, Wehadkee and worked at Presbyterian Home for Children in charge of maintinance. He loved to ride through the mountains, was an avid cowboy movie watcher, and a huge Auburn fan. He is preceded in death by parents, Chandler and Eula Hallman. His survivors include his wife of 37 years, Jimmie Hallman, children, Wanda McMichael (Rusty), Pamela Parrish (Dennis), Buddy Hallman (Brenda Rouse), Russell Bishop, Sis Whitaker (Richard), Snowie Bishop (Amy), 14 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson, along with several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Rusty McMichael, Jason Jarrell, Dustin McMichael, Kyle Bennett, Curtis Allen Bishop and Christopher Bishop.
