Funeral services for Kelly R. Martin, 84, of Talladega will be 10:00 am, Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016 at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega with Rev. Jeff Rutledge officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, Oct. 14, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Usrey Funeral Home. Mr. Martin passed away Oct. 12, 2016 at Talladega Health Care.
Kelly was a lifelong resident of Talladega and retired from Georgia Pacific in 1993.
He was preceded in death by his parents Charlie and Linder Martin, wife Verla Martin, infant son Terry Wayne Martin, brothers Charles Martin, James “Jim” Martin, Tommy Martin, and sister Jane Martin Oglesby.
He is survived by his sons Kelley S. Martin, Gary “Rusty” Martin (Debbie), Randy Martin (Heidi), daughter Karen Jones (Benny), five grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Tanner Martin, Patrick Jones, Jason Martin, Brian Patterson, Joey Martin, Leslie Martin, and Guy Knight.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Martin, Wayne Mellon, and Buddy Moore.
