Obituary of Evelyn Virginia Watts

Funeral services for Evelyn Virginia Foshee Watts will be be Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 1p.m at Munford Church of Christ with Brother Shane Clark, Richard O’Conner officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Her family will receive friends Friday from 5-8 at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega. Mrs. Watts passed away Saturday, July 16, 2016. She was a native of Munford and a pillar of the community. Her greatest treasure was her family. She was a loving wife, mother, memaw, sister, aunt, mother-in-law, and friend. She was a long-time member of Munford Church of Christ. She retired from Munford High School where she spent over 30 years serving students in the lunchroom. After her retirement she continued serving the Munford and surrounding communities at Evelyn's Bakery. She was preceded in death by her husband James Curtis Watts. She is survived by her daughters, Renee Watts Stone (Brad) of Munford, Tammy Watts McBurnett (Barry) of Lincoln; sons, Howard Curtis Watts (Pat) and James Rodney Watts (Leiah) both of Munford; sister Rosemary Rollins (Charles) of Munford; brother Howard Foshee Jr. (Missy) of Pell City; grandchildren Hannah McBurnett, Ethan McBurnett, Emily McBurnett, Tyler Watts, Victoria Stone, Caleb Watts, Harrison Stone, Caiden Watts and Jackson Watts. Pallbearers will be Jason Irwin, Matt Humphries, Benji Rollins, Mark Hall, Kyle Studdard, Ethan McBurnett, Harrison Stone, Tyler Watts, Caleb Watts, Caiden Watts, Jackson Watts. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Munford Church of Christ.
