Obituary of Steven K. Elders

A memorial service for Steven K. Elders, age 54, will be held at 3:00, Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega with the Rev. Wesley Johnson officiating. His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Mr. Elders passed away May 18, 2016 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in
Birmingham.
He was a native of Texas and a longtime resident of Talladega.
Steven is preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Joyce Elders and
survived by his brothers, Alan Elders (Kathy) and Glen
Elders. Steven was a kind and talented soul who enjoyed writing poetry, drawing, and the outdoors. He was a member of Talladega Creek Baptist Church.
The family would like to thank St. Vincent’s ICU South Tower Medical Staff
for the compassion and excellent care they gave Steven during his time there.
