Background: Mrs. Cooley was born and raised in Wedowee, AL, in a family of five girls and three boys. She married and moved to Talladega in 1946 and was an active member of First Baptist Church where she served the nursery. She was a member of the Martha Reese Sunday School class until she moved. She retired from Palm Beach Mill Outlet and later worked at Shocco Springs where she loved to serve meals to others from all over the world. She was an avid gardener and was a member of the Red Bud Garden Club. Survivors: Husband, James Roy Cooley of Tuscaloosa, Son, Barry Cooley (Christi) of Talladega, Daughter, Kim Green (Joel) of Douglasville, Ga, Daughter, Dianne Pritchett of Tuscaloosa, 7 Grandchildren, Rodney Pritchett (Ginger), Brian Pritchett (Shalon),, Lori Cooley Harrell (Chris), Jay Cooley (Amy), Jared Cooley (Sarah), Kevin Green (Devan), and Kyle Green, 7 Great Grandchildren, Blakley and Tucker Harrell, Hannah and Christian Pritchett, Zoie Pritchett, Kidman Cooley, Alyssa Cooley, and a Sister, Nadine Rankin.
