Gregory “Greg” James Mellon, 61, of Talladega, AL passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2026. His family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega on Friday, July 24, 2026, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.

Mr. Mellon was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega and retired from the United States Post Office. His favorite pastime was spending time with his beloved grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy and Charlotte Mellon.

Mr. Mellon is survived by his wife, Teresa Mellon; son, Kyle Mellon (Santana); daughter, Kayla Nielsen (Caleb); grandchildren, Kytana, Athena, and Charlotte; brother, Ronald Mellon, and a host of nieces and nephews.
