Thelice Anne Watson, 81, of Talladega, passed away on July 7, 2026.

Anne was born in 1945 in San Antonio, Texas and grew up in Houston, Texas where her father was a dentist. She loved everything Texas-related and horses.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth Carpenter and Charles Carpenter; son, Charles “Morty” Morton.; son, brother, Charles “Charley” Carpenter II.

She is survived by her husband of forty-seven years, Steve Watson; grandson, Chandler J. Morton (Carley); sister-in-law, Karen Carpenter; and many nephews and nieces.

The family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home – Pell City from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2026, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Paul Brasher officiating.
