Edward Keith Williams Obituary

Edward Keith Williams, 63, passed away on June 12, 2026.

Born on September 12, 1962, in Anniston, Alabama, Keith was the beloved son of Bo and Judy Williams. He was a man whose life was marked by faith, kindness, laughter, and a genuine love for people.

Keith spent much of his career in sales, but to him, it was always about more than business. He often said his favorite part of the job was sharing God’s Word with his customers and encouraging those he met along the way. His faith was a guiding force in his life, and he never missed an opportunity to speak of God’s goodness.

Known for his positive outlook and quick sense of humor, Keith had a gift for making people smile. He loved spending time outdoors, enjoyed fishing and loved playing the guitar whenever he had the chance, watching sunsets, and found some of his greatest joy in being “Pop Pop” to his granddaughter, Selah. Of all the roles he held throughout his life, being Pop Pop was one of his favorites. He cherished every moment spent with her and loved watching her grow.

Keith is survived by his daughter, Anna Leigh Sylestine, and her husband, Jaron Sylestine; his beloved granddaughter, Selah Jane Sylestine; his sister, Kim Newman and her husband, Reece Newman; and many other family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bo and Judy Williams.

Visitation will be held at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega, Alabama, on June 20th from 1:00pm -2:00pm. Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm.

The family wishes to thank everyone who has offered prayers, love, and support during this difficult time.

Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we take comfort in knowing that Keith’s faith has become sight. His laughter, encouragement, and unwavering love for his family will continue to live on in the lives of those he touched.

“I thank my God every time I remember you.”
