Juanita Curvin, 83, of Talladega, passed away May 28, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Flora Mae and James Digby; sister, Barbara Ann Nolan; and brothers, Cleveland "Sonny" Madison Digby and James Lawrence Horton.

She is survived by her husband, Sammy Wade Curvin; nieces whom she loved as daughters, Lacosta Harris, Veronica Messer and Pam Crawford; nephew, Wayne Horton; great and great-great nieces and nephews all of whom affectionately referred to her as Nana, Kara Weiss (Michael), Dylan Richards, Amalie Messer, Kirsten Messer, Megan Messer, Maverick Weiss, Grayson Weiss and Camilo Leon; stepson, Steven Wade Curvin (Dawn); step-grandchildren, Derek Curvin, Tyler Curvin and Ellie Curvin; and step-great-grandchildren, Iris Curvin and Ivory Curvin.

The family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home – Pell City from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 31, 2026.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 31, 2026 with Bro. Clyde Pettus officiating, followed by interment at Forestlawn Gardens in Anniston, Alabama.
