Jeremia Rae Tipton, 23, of Talladega, AL passed away Wednesday May 20, 2026, after a tragic work accident. His family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. A funeral ceremony will be held in his honor at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. with Kevin Jones officiating. Interment will follow directly after the service at Pine Hill Memorial Park.

Jeremia graduated from Munford High School in 2020 and worked as a trimmer and project manager for the company L3.

Jeremia’s infectious smile and humor brought laughter to every room. He cared deeply for people and had such a huge heart to take care of his friends and family, especially his mom and sister who were his best friends. Jeremia loved people with all he had and was “good as gold” as his grandparents would say. He had big dreams and enjoyed working with his hands. He was a deep thinker and loved talking about his faith. Jeremia wasn’t perfect, as no one is, but he believed in Jesus and he fully believed the gospel.

Jeremia is preceded in death by his father, Jeremy Tipton.

Jeremia is survived by his mother and step father, Tammy and John McCoy; sisters, Sara Tipton and Kayla McCoy; grandparents, Guy and Darla Knight (Pops & Grams) and Terry and Kim Tipton (Papaw Tip and Nanny); aunts and uncles, Teri Lynn Black, Brandi Hayes, Guy and Allison Knight, Scott and Tracy Stimpson, and Angela and Perry Thrasher; cousins, Blair and Chris Steffens, Drew and Caitlyn Knight, Jaden Tipton, Mason Tipton, Lynzee Baker and Dylan Stimpson.

Jakobee Threatt, Jaden Tipton, Ethan Swinford, Kade Keith, T.J. Johnson, Garrett Foshee, Garrett Sprayberry, and Corbin Smith will serve as pallbearers.

Drew Knight, Chris Steffens, Mason Tipton, Colby Tillman, his coworkers and best friends at L3 and TurfWorx, and his coworkers at Central Pawn will serve as honorary pallbearers.
