Wanda Jane Geier, 69, of Talladega, AL passed away at her home on Thursday, May 21, 2026. Her family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. A graveside ceremony will be held in her honor at 12:30 P.M. on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at Pine Hill Memorial Park.

Mrs. Geier was a native of Talladega County and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1977. She also spent some time in Louisiana where she was a very active member of Don Avenue Baptist Church by teaching Sunday school, working in the daycare, and holding many other positions. She also enjoyed going picking and collecting things.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Betty Magouryk, and sisters, Vickey Magouryk and Patricia New.

Mrs. Geier is survived by her husband, Mark Geier; daughter, Alisa Pellos; son, Jeffery Geier (Shanna); sisters, Margaret White (Bill) and Brenda Horn (Mike); brother, James Magouryk (Delisa); 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
