Adam Tyler Willis Obituary

Adam passed on to Heaven on May 18, 2026, peacefully surrounded by his wonderful family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents on both sides of the family.

He leaves behind the love of his life, his wife, Jaclyn, and his son, Ayden. He is also survived by his parents, Larry and Carol Willis, and Deborah and Wayne Forsyth; his brothers, Drew (Emily) and Conner (Kristen); his sister, Emily (Rick); his sweet nieces and nephews; and a host of loving family members and friends.

Adam was a talented, caring, and hilarious human being. Though shy at first, he always had the best jokes that came out of nowhere and could make anyone laugh. He had a kind smile, beautifully blue eyes, and a big old head full of luscious hair that everyone loved to tease him about.

Adam loved video games, traveling the world, and trying every kind of food he could find. His knowledge of IT, geography, and endless random facts somehow always found their way into conversation. He was the person you could ask anything, and somehow he always knew the answer.

The last two years brought challenges no one should ever have to face, but Adam never complained. Through every blood test, MRI, and doctor’s appointment, he simply said, “Okay, let’s do it.” His strength, resilience, and quiet courage were a true testament to his character.

The love and support shown by the community throughout Adam’s journey meant so much to him and his family. Adam appreciated every single person — whether he knew them personally or not — and felt incredibly blessed by the kindness surrounding him.

Adam was also blessed to work for incredible people throughout his career, including Jacksonville State University, NobleBank & Trust, and Best Buy. Their kindness, support, and generosity during Adam’s battle with brain cancer meant more to him and his family than words can express.

There are not enough words to fully describe how wonderful Adam was or how deeply he will be missed. He leaves behind countless funny memories shared with everyone fortunate enough to know and love him.

Every time you hear a funny impersonation, a favorite song, or anything that reminds you of Adam, smile and know that he is still with you.

Adam’s visitation and service will be held on Thursday, May 21, starting at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Oxford, followed by burial at St. Clair Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local animal shelter in honor of Adam’s love for animals or to MD Anderson Cancer Center for brain cancer research in Adam’s memory.
