William Neil “Bill” Couch, 55, of Munford, AL passed away on Saturday, May 09, 2026. A funeral ceremony will be held in his honor at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega with John Trickett officiating. His family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow directly after the ceremony at Stockdale Baptist Cemetery.

Mr. Couch was a native and lifelong resident of Munford. Known for being a very hardworking and dedicated man, Bill was a third-generation millwright—a legacy which he passed down to both of his sons. As a Master Millwright, he was always prepared for anything. He was known for always having any tool you could possibly need, and if he didn’t have it, he would make it. Bill could fix absolutely anything, and he knew something about a little bit of everything. He always got the job done whether it was in his career or personal life. He was very outspoken, and you always knew where you stood with him. Mr. Couch loved guns, attending concerts, and travelling to the beach, but most of all, he loved his family. Affectionately known as “Hard Head”, he was a strong family man who carried the weight of the world on his shoulders so no one else would have to. His signature laugh, the “snicker”, will be dearly missed by his family and friends for many years to come.

He was preceded in death by his wife, April Michelle Couch; twin sons, Christian Tyler Couch and Nicholas Hardin Couch; father, Morgan Neil Couch; mother, Mary P. McCluskey; and four-legged best friend, Snookie.

Mr. Couch is survived by his sons, Mikel Couch (Haley) and Logan Couch (Lexie); daughter, Rachel Howard (Michael); grandchildren, Brie Major and Lilah Howard; lifelong best friends, Barbara Turner and Christy Krysiewski, and a host of beloved cousins and friends.

Harley Haynes, Dakota Harris, Tyler Harry, Phillip Gallahar, Tyler Gallahar, and Kendrick Gallahar will serve as pallbearers.
