Elbert Thomas Bean Jr., 88, of Lincoln, AL passed away on Monday, April 27, 2026. A memorial service will be held in his honor at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, May 03, 2026, at Dry Valley Baptist Church.

Mr. Bean was a native and lifelong resident of Lincoln and attended Lincoln High School. He retired from ATAP after 41 years of service. Elbert enjoyed camping, playing the guitar, and visiting The Great Smoky Mountains.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathey Bean, and daughter, Tori Elizabeth Bean.

Mr. Bean is survived by his son, Danny Thomas Bean (Ellen); daughter, Brenda Leigh Mezick (Keith); son, Nathan Thomas Bean; brother, Wayne Bean; sister, Kathy Jo Stewart; grandchildren, Jason Thomas Bean, Kayla Bean, Cheyenne Milburn, Jamie Leigh Mezick, Bryson Bean, and Raylie Bean, and ex-wife of 26 years, Roberta Bean.
