Michael Anthony Pinkston Sr. passed away on April 22, 2026 at the age of 68.


He is survived by his ex-wife, Anita Davis; son, Mike Pinkston (Becca); daughters, Candy and Brandy; grandchildren, Britney, Michael, Mackenzey, Harper and Harlow; great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Brinley and Jackson; brother, Rick (Jean) of Hoyleton, Il; sister, Barbara of LaVerne, CA; and numerous nieces and nephews.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Bertha; his beloved brothers, Milton Junior, Stan and Steve, and by his beloved sisters, Sue, Linda, Martha, Lucy and Rita.


He was a stand-up comedian. He won funniest man in Birmingham and funniest man in the Southeast. He did stand-up with many professional comedians.


He enjoyed Alabama football, fishing, lake life and he always loved spending time with his family. You were guaranteed to have a smile on your face just listening to him. He could always make your day feel better and brighter.


One of his favorite things to say was, “I’m gonna make it all the way to the end.” And he most certainly did. He will be missed and mourned by everyone who ever had the great fortune to have known him.
