Robert Jeffrey “Jeff” Clevenger, of Talladega, AL, passed away February 25, 2026, at the age of 69. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Eastaboga Baptist Church with Jeremy Tuiolosega officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.

Jeff was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega, AL. He was a graduate of Talladega High School, Class of 1975 and later attended the University of Alabama. He was the former co-owner/operator of Turner’s Mill Grocery. He was a member of Eastaboga Baptist Church and attended “Jimmy Hugh’s Sunday School Class”. Jeff loved George Straight, horses, and the cowboy lifestyle.

Mr. Clevenger is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Stella Anne Clevenger. He is survived by his wife, Diane Clevenger; daughters, Susan Cooper (Gary), and Sandra Lawler (Dale); son, Drew Clevenger (Erin); beloved aunts, Nancy Jo Turner and Juliet Graham; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Highfield, Darrell Ingram, Tony Haynes, Dale Lawler, Clay Lawler, Johnny Badders, and Max Lathem.
