Freida Ann Rainey of Talladega, AL passed away on Monday, February 02, 2026. Her family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega on Thursday, February 05, 2026, from 11:30 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. A graveside ceremony will be held in her honor at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 05, 2026, at Forestlawn Gardens with Kevin Jones officiating.

Mrs. Rainey was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega, and she retired from AIDB as a food service worker. She was a former member of Glen Addie Baptist Church in Anniston, AL and a current member of Ridgeview Baptist Church in Talladega, AL. Freida was an avid Auburn University fan who loved food and her family and friends dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Louis and Clara Idell McCormack, and nephew, Alan Raughton.

Mrs. Rainey is survived by her son, Christopher Wayne Rainey; sister, Gail Raughton (Jimmy); brother, Dennis McCormack, and granddaughter, Kaleigh Nicole Rainey.
