Theresa Anne Wiest, 66, of Lincoln, AL passed away at her home on Monday, January 26, 2026.

Mrs. Wiest was a native of California but spent most of her life in the south living in Mississippi, Tennessee, and Alabama. She graduated from nursing school in California, and she retired in Oak Ridge, TN as a home health nurse. Theresa was a member of Hope Church and had a very caring and generous heart. She had a deep love for her grandchildren and animals. Theresa was a devoted mother and “Nana” who will be missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Andrew “Jack” Wiest, and father, Donald Brenier.

Mrs. Wiest is survived by her daughters, Jeannie Whitmire and Jacquelyn Wiest (Charles Macon); son, Joseph Lindley; mother, Jean Brenier; grandchildren, Gage Whitmire, Allie Whitmire, and Octavia Wiest; sister, Kelly Palmore (Rusty); brother, John Brenier (Tracey), and a host of nieces and nephews.
