Patricia D. McConnell, 83, of Riverside, AL passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026. A funeral ceremony will be held in her honor at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home for thirty minutes prior to the service. Interment will follow directly after the ceremony at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. McConnell was a native of South Carolina but lived most of her life in Alabama. She was the bookkeeper at Talladega Auto Parts for over 30 years before retiring from Newman Industrial after 20 years of service. Pat was a very active member of the Jayceettes where she received many accolades and participated in various community projects. She was also a member of First Baptist Church of Talladega. Mrs. McConnell enjoyed watching college football—especially the Auburn Tigers, living on the river, and boating. Feminine to the core, she loved to be dressed perfectly and fixed up at all times. She was also a fantastic cook. A very spirited woman, she was small but mighty and always outspoken. Her kind heart made her an extremely supportive and loving wife, mother, and “Mimi” who will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Winnie and Gary Stewart, and father, James H. Dickinson.

Mrs. McConnell is survived by her husband of 65 years, Stuart L. McConnell; daughter, Lori M. Green (David); son, Vic L. McConnell (Laura); grandchildren, Morgan Green, Gavin Green (Tatum), Reed McConnell, Annalee McConnell, and Harrison McConnell; great-grandchildren, Willow Green and Lachlan Green; sisters, Karen D. Stuhl and Genia D. Clark (Ralph); brother, James Dickinson, and several nieces and nephews.

Gavin Green, Reed McConnell, Harrison McConnell, David Green, and Ralph Clark will serve as pallbearers.
