Jeanette Mae Watts, 80, of Weaver, AL passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026. A funeral ceremony will be held in her honor at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, January 12, 2026, at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow directly after the ceremony at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Mrs. Watts was a native of Talladega, but she lived most of her life in Alexander City. She retired from Russell Cotton Mill. Jeanette loved southern country cooking and Blue Bell Ice Cream.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Watts; parents, William and Ina Carr; daughter, Diana Watts, and son, John David Watts.

Mrs. Watts is survived by her brother, Alan Carr; sisters, Nina Lackey, Molly Cochran, Cindy O’Bester, and Sandra Walters; granddaughters, Jill Watts, Jennifer Watts, and Jessica Watts, and a host of nieces and nephews.
