Roy Edwin Jenkins, 93, of Talladega, AL passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025. A graveside ceremony will be held in his honor at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 08, 2026, at Pine Hill Memorial Park with Andrew Goodwin officiating.

Mr. Jenkins was born in Etowah County, but he lived most of his life in Talladega. He attended schools in both the Talladega County and Clay County school systems. Roy was a very hardworking man who spent a lot of his life working in foundries, but he retired from Georgia Pacific after 20 years of service. He was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, gardening, and horseback riding.

He was preceded in death by his son, Ralph Jenkins; parents, Grady and Ruth Jenkins; brother, Ronald Jenkins; sister, Katie Williams, and ex-wife, Inez Patterson Jenkins.

Mr. Jenkins is survived by his son, Steven Jenkins (Kathy); grandson, Kevin Jenkins; brother, Fred Jenkins (Kathleen); sister, Meta Stephens (Lindsey); close friend, Bill Hayden, and a host of nieces and nephews.
