James Michael “Mike” Scogin, 61, of Pell City, passed away December 31, 2025.

Mike loved to ride both his motorcycle and his horse.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Ann Graham Scogin; maternal grandparents, Annie Mae Harris Graham and Tallie Graham; and paternal grandparents, Alice Clark Scogin and Irby M. Scogin.

He is survived by his father, Irby M. Scogin Jr.; sisters, Ena Hallman (Darren) and Renee Scogin; nephews, Hayden Scogin, Dakota Hallman (Nira), Dalton Hallman, and Dylan Hallman (Samantha); nieces, Olivia Scogin and Emilee Horsley (Hunter); two great-nieces; and two great-nephews.

There will be no services but Mike will be taken on his last horse ride at a later date.
