Shirley B. Ledlow age 87, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2025. She was a devoted mother, cherished grandmother and a proud great- grandmother whose life was rooted in family, faith and devotion. She took great pride in her role as the heart of her family. Her wisdom, strength and kindness left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege and honor of knowing her.

She was known for her life-long enthusiasm for sports, particularly her unwavering support for the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Atlanta Braves. Her familiar cheer of “Roll Tide Roll” will echo forever in the hearts of those who shared these moments with her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Edwin Ledlow; daughter Patty Smith; parents Coy and Elvie Brown; sisters Diane Sims and Connie Thompson; brother Coy Senard Brown and many other loved ones who gone before her.

She is survived by her children Billy (Teresa) Smith; Paula Smith; Tim Smith; Kristi (Jason) Watson and Shannon Ledlow. Her grandchildren Blake; Jennifer; Laura (Daniel); Tiffany; Kielan and Matthew. Her great-grandchildren Aubrey; Nathan; Austin; Will; Landon; Emme; Crimson; Logan; Remy and Laiton. Her brother Gerald Brown.

Her legacy of family and faith will remain in our hearts forever.

The family will receive friends for visitation on January 2, 2026 from 10-11am at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega, AL with the service starting at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Hepzibah Cemetery.
