Mr. Gordon Eugene Smith, 91, of Pell City, Alabama, passed away December 16, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his son, Gary Michael Smith, and by his parents, Lilas Lister and Leon Smith.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Smith; sons, Douglas Eugene Smith (Judy), Billy Frank Smith (Lynne), and Barry Dale Smith (Susan); grandchildren, Chris Smith (Heather), Vince Smith (Misty), Patrick Smith, Laura Rogers (Chris), Brandon Smith, and Michael Smith (Danielle); eleven great-grandchildren; and brother, Reginald Clark Smith.

The family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home – Pell City from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 18, 2025. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, December 19, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Bill Daniel and Bro. Jimmy Pirkle officiating. Interment will be at St. Clair Memorial Gardens.
