Mr. Dale Owens, 80, of Pell City, Alabama, passed away December 14, 2025.

Dale was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force and served honorably during the Vietnam War. He was retired from Alabama Power Company. He was a member of First Baptist Church Pell City where he sang in the choir for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Florence and Ed Owens.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-six years, Jolene Owens; daughter, Jennifer Owens Hicks (Randy); son, Jonathan Owens; grandchildren, Rahne Hicks, Matthew Owens, Rory Hicks, and Grace Owens; sister, Margaret Ann Owens; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home – Pell City from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 18, 2025. The funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church Pell City on Friday, December 19, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. with Dr. John Thweatt officiating. Interment, with military honors, will be at Anniston Memorial Gardens.
