Angela Sue Harris, 59, of Talladega, AL passed away on Sunday, December 07, 2025. Her family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. A funeral ceremony will be held in her honor at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega with Roger Young and Chase Lackey officiating. Interment will follow directly after the service at Pine Hill Memorial Park.

Mrs. Harris was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega, and she was a member of Revive Church Talladega. She enjoyed shopping, watching her favorite television shows, Andy Griffith and Family Feud, and listening to a wide variety of music. Sue had a big heart and loved doing anything that she could for others even if it meant giving up something for herself. Her grandchildren were the joy of her life, and she was a loving mother, “Granny” and “Nana”.

She was preceded in death by her fathers, Walter Bishop and Rickey Nixon, and sister, Lacy Bishop.

Mrs. Harris is survived by her mother, Selma Nixon; children, Johnathan Jones (Edith), Patrick Jones (Kerrigan Barker), and Kelsey Jameson (Matthew); grandchildren, Edward Jones, Phoenix Jones, Josie Jameson, and Tommie Jo Jones; siblings, Teresa Lackey (Mike), Johnny Nixon, Tonya Smiley, and Bobby Bishop; God-child, Jayda Cook; best friends, Inez Cook and Kim Smith, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

Eddie Bounds, Matthew Lackey, Mike Lackey, Chris Spurling, Steven Spurling, and Edward Jones will serve as pallbearers.
