Mrs. Anna Maria Steed, 61, of Steele, Alabama, passed away December 9, 2025. Born in Sweden on March 8, 1964, Anna moved to Pell City, Alabama, before settling in Steele.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents, Ulf and Siv Jungbeck;

She is survived by her husband, Milton Steed; daughters, Linnea Nelms (Drake), Sherin Frida Shehadeh (David Andersson), and Amanda Ramsey (Jerome); two grandsons, Harrison Nelms, and Diesel Ramsey; a sister, Stina Jungbeck; brothers, Anders Jungbeck, Bengt Jungbeck, and Nils Jungbeck, a first cousin Marie Barber (Kinsman).

The funeral service will be held at Hardin’s Chapel Bible Church at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2025. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Saturday. Bro. Joey Rashleigh will be officiating, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.
