Nancy Claire McLemore Perkins, 81, of Talladega, AL passed away on Sunday, November 09, 2025. A celebration of life ceremony will be held in her honor at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, November 14, 2025, at Cragdale Baptist Church.

Mrs. Perkins was a native of Talladega, AL and spent most of her life there. She graduated from Talladega High School and later earned a Master of Science degree from Jacksonville State University. Nancy cherished her time as a teacher. She was the head of the science department at Talladega Academy for eleven years and went on to retire from the Donoho School after many years of service. Mrs. Perkins was a very active member of Cragdale Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in her yard and taking care of her cat, Katie. Nancy was a very strong willed, devoted, and loving woman, mother, and “Nana” who will be missed deeply.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Perkins, parents, Clarance and Alta McLemore, and sister, Melinda McLemore.

Mrs. Perkins is survived by her son, Mike Perkins (Tammy), and grandson, Jayson Perkins.
