Mr. Glenn Franklin Newman, 81, of Ragland, passed away on October 19, 2025.

Mr. Newman was preceded in death by his parents, Louise and Frank Newman; brothers, Jack Newman and Michael Newman; and sister, Bonnie Lovell.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Newman; daughters, Melony Newman (Dewayne Pennington) and Tara Mitchell (Corey); grandchildren, Glen Newman (Samantha), Taran Spencer (Marshall), Reed Mitchell (Rachael), and Erin Mitchell; great-grandchildren, Maddie Spencer, Jonathan Spencer, Finn Newman, and Henry Newman; brother, Lynn Newman; sister, Maschelle Simpkins; and a host of nieces and nephews whom he dearly loved.

The family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home - Pell City from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 23, 2025, followed by a 2:00 p.m. funeral service with Bro. Travis Stevens officiating. Interment will be at St. Clair Memorial Gardens.
