Nancy Melissa White, 74, of Talladega, AL passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2025. A celebration of life ceremony will be held in her honor at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega with Reverend Jack Smith officiating. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. White was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega. She was a proud graduate of Jacksonville State University and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Melissa was a loving and devoted mother and “Grandma”.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas “Tommy” Michael White Sr., and her parents, Byron and Evelyn Green.

Mrs. White is survived by her son, Michael White (Gayle); daughter, Missy Hopper (Lane); grandchildren, Emelia White and Madeline White; sister, Sherlyn Jackson (Bill); nephew, Brad Jackson; nieces, Amy Jackson; great-nephew, Jackson Bellin; great-nieces, Gray Jackson and Mary Bradford Jackson, and grand dogs, Jack, Sally, and Lily.

Her family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Alabama Oncology, especially Dr. Benjamin Jones, for their excellent care.
