Mrs. Shirley Perkins Ashley, 79, of Southside, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Ashley; parents, Billy and Margie Perkins; brother, Kenneth Perkins (Annie Ruth); and sister, Paulette Riddle (Winston).

She is survived by her sons, Chris Ashley (Abbie) and Matthew Ashley (Natalie); grandchildren, Nora Ashley, Ruth Ashley, and Jolene Ashley, and Dalton McCaskill; nieces, Tina Shaw (Bo), Teresa Riddle and Wendy Davis (Wade); nephew, Dewayne Riddle (Jeanne); and a host of great and great-great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home - Pell City on Sunday, August 17, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of Usrey Funeral Home - Pell City at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 17, 2025. Interment will be at Ragland Methodist Cemetery.
