Mrs. Peggy J. Garrett, 79, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Garrett; parents, Thomas Davis and Zola Newton; sister, Ann Gulledge; and brother, Junior Barker.

She is survived by her sons, Joseph Garrett and Jonathan Garrett (Sheila); fourteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; special nephew, Jaren Kirkland; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home - Pell City on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of Usrey Funeral Home - Pell City at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday August 19, 2025. Interment will be at Macedonia North Cemetery in Vincent.
