Mr. James Michael Maddox, 72, of Pell City, passed away on Friday, August 8, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Debra Maddox; granddaughter, Kyra Masters; parents, Sidney Boyd and Catherine Maddox; brothers, Boyd Maddox and Bobby Maddox; and sisters, Louise Sprayberry, Annette Martin, and Ellen Cook.

He is survived by his daughters, Diane Masters Knight (Dewayne) and Karen Maddox Marcus; son, Darrell Maddox (Kayla); grandchildren, Christopher Masters (Kaylee), Michael Maddox, Brayden Maddox, Robert Maddox, and Savannah Maddox; and brothers, Paul Maddox and Randy Maddox.

The family will gather with friends at Usrey Funeral Home - Pell City from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 10, 2025, followed by a 2:00 p.m. funeral service with Bro. TJ Martin officiating. Interment will be at St. Clair Memorial Gardens.
