Barbara Ann West, 83, of Talladega, AL passed away at her home on Sunday, August 03, 2025. A funeral ceremony will be held in her honor at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, August 07, 2025, at Hepzibah Baptist Church with Randy Hagan officiating. Her family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 07, 2025, at Cahaba Heights Baptist Cemetery.

Mrs. West was a native of Jefferson County but had lived in Talladega since 2002. She graduated from Woodlawn High School in 1961 and retired from Jefferson State Community College in 2001. Mrs. West was a member of Hepzibah Baptist Church. She was a very loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be missed greatly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Pauline Skelton, and siblings, Jack Skelton, Jeannine McVay, and Patricia Anthony.

Mrs. West is survived by her husband of 62 years, Marshall West; son, Michael West (Mitzi); daughters, Marsha Norris (Kevin) and Wendy Crumbley; 4 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
