Mr. David Earl Lackey, 82, of Jacksonville, Alabama, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Verona Lackey; brothers, Roland Lackey, Alfred Lackey, and Benny Lackey; and sister, Mary Huff.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Lackey; son, Charles Lackey; grandson, Austin Lackey; sister, Anne Talton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home - Pell City on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at Usrey Funeral Home - Pell City with Minister Keith Ritchie, Minister Brooks Boyd, and Minister David Marker officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Shoal Creek Valley.

Serving as pallbearers are Don Williams, Robert Box, Don Sanders, Jim Ratcliffe, Charles Lackey and Tommy Willingham.
