Mrs. Edna Wynette Pennington, 83, of Pell City, Alabama, passed away on July 13, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Willie Golden; sister, Ruth Ann Golden; and great-grandchild, Remington Lane Tims.

She is survived by her husband, Harold Pennington; daughter, Melissa (Richard) Traylor; son, John (Joy) Pennington; thirteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and brother, John (Peggy) Golden.

The family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home – Pell City from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 17, 2025.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at Usrey Funeral Home – Pell City, with Jared Pennington officiating. Interment will be at St. Clair Memorial Gardens.

Serving as pallbearers are Mrs. Pennington’s grandsons.
