Louise Barnett Sewell was born on December 26, 1929 in Winterboro, AL and passed away on Wednesday, July 09, 2025. A graveside ceremony will be held in her honor at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Pine Hill Memorial Park with Travis Ford officiating.

Mrs. Sewell was a graduate of Winterboro High School and a lifelong resident of Talladega. Louise was a dedicated, long-time employee of the Diana Shop. After its closure, she continued her career in retail at the Goodies location in Talladega. Affectionately known as “Weezer”, she cherished her time with her nephews and nieces as they grew up. However, her greatest joy was spoiling and caring for her great-nieces and great-nephew, Marley, Avery, Harper, and Jesse.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Winfred Sewell; brother, Jimmy; sisters, Alice, Agnes, and Sue, and parents, Harvey and Cora Barnett.

Mrs. Sewell is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Her family would like to extend a special thank you to her wonderful friend and caregiver, Vanessa Wallace.
