Paul Richard Hubans,74 of Talladega, Alabama, passed away peacefully on May 31,2025. Born on September 20, 1950 in Monessen, Pennsylvania to Paul Michael and Elizabeth Hubans, Paul lived a life marked by, faith, service, and devotion to his community.
Paul proudly served his country during the Vietnam War, demonstrating courage and dedication. After his military service, he worked for U.S. Steel in Pennsylvania, where he built a strong work ethic and lasting friendships. Nearly 30 years ago Paul relocated to Talladega, Alabama, where he found his true home. An active and beloved member of his church community. Paul was a devote Catholic whose unwavering faith inspired those around him. His generosity and kind heart touched countless lives.
Paul is survived by his son, Paul Hubans; his sisters, Paulette and Elizabeth; and his nephews, Mark and Kent. HE was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Michael and Elizabeth Hubans.
A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, June 21st at 11:00 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 415 5th Avenue SW, Childersburg, AL. 35044. A luncheon will follow the service in Paul's honor.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Holy Name of Jesus Church in Paul's memory.
Paul's legacy of faith and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Eternal rest grant to him Oh Lord. May perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace and rise in glory.
