Mrs. Sandra E. Echols, age 77, of Ragland, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 3, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Leonard and Ruth Bunt, and her dear sisters, Gale Hare and Lois Bean.

Sandra is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Louie Echols; her children, Barry Echols (Jill) and Adrianne Dodgen (Jeff); her grandchildren, Todd Echols (Jennifer), Josh Echols, Blake Dodgen, Jordan Dodgen (Ashlee), and Andrea Howard (Samuel); and her great-grandchildren, Autumn Echols, Zoeie Dodgen, Bentley Echols, Jaden Dodgen, Kasen Echols, Addison Echols, Oliver Messex, Wyatt Dodgen, James Dawson Howard, and Jasper Oakes Howard.

Sandra was a devoted member of Providence Baptist Church, where she faithfully played the piano and sang for many years. Her love for gospel music was a defining part of her life, and she shared her talents as a member of several gospel music groups. Through her music and ministry, she touched the hearts of many people.

A graveside service to honor and celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Providence Cemetery, with Bro. Wayne Arnold officiating.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to Compassus Hospice for their compassionate care and to Teresa Hannah for her dedicated service and support.

Sandra will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her legacy of music, faith, and love for family will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
